Livingston Manor tempered the Tuxedo Tornadoes, with a 4-3 extra innings win.

Double play in Manor

Story by Eli Ruiz
LIVINGSTON MANOR — May 24, 2013 — The Livingston Manor baseball and softball teams played simultaneous games just yards apart on Tuesday against Tuxedo – with decidedly mixed results.
The boys managed to temper the Tornadoes with a 4-3 extra innings win. Dylan Taggart scored the winning run on a fielder's choice by Andrew Cummings with one out in the eighth for the non-league win.
Pitcher Mile D'Auria pitched the full eight innings for the Wildcats and allowed a paltry six hits. Taggart finished with one hit and an RBI for Livingston Manor which finished its season with a 6-14 record.
One the girls’ side, things weren't so rosy. Allison Toscano and Danielle McNamara combined for four hits to power the Lady Tornadoes to an 8-1 non league win. Kali Leu pitched a six-hitter and stuck out four to improve Tuxedo's record to 12-6. One bright spot for the Lady Wildcats was Jami Sedlack who went 2-for-3 and scored Livingston Manor’s only run of the day. The loss dropped Livingston Manor to 7-8 overall.
