Fall Sports Wrap: Livingston Manor

Story by Jon Dinan
CROSS COUNTRY
Coach: Sandra Taggart
Record: 10-10, 5-3 (league)
Season Highlights: Without a “star" runner, we had to work very hard as a team, and it was the teamwork that helped us to a .500 record.”
Top performers: Evan Taggart, Dillon Taggart, Michael D'Auria, Dylan D'Auria, and Max Kaplan.
Coach’s Comments: “We had 13 runners this year, another great turnout for such a small school. Twelve of the 13 will be returning next year. They are a hardworking, encouraging group of boys.”

FOOTBALL
Coach: Kevin Clifford
Record: 0-8, 0-3 (league)
Season Highlights: Andrew Cummings accounted for 900 all-purpose yards in just over five games of action.
Top Performers: Andrew Cummings, Matt Janik, Brian Eskridge, Terrance Lockhart and Austin Shaver.
Coach’s Comments: “It was a tough rebuilding season plagued with a lot of injuries to our upper classmen. Our young players stepped in and worked very hard. They showed a lot of promise for the future.”

GIRLS’ SOCCER
Coach: Shirlee Davis
Record: 13-4
Season Highlights: “Playing SS Seward to a 1-0 half, winning our division, and winning the section title.”
Top Performers: Annaliese Gorr, Farrah Mills, Defense Ami Calo, Cassidy Lewis, Paige Severing, and Imani Miranda.
Coach’s Comment: “Fantastic season for the Lady Wildcats. I was happily impressed with the improvement of the team from the beginning of the season until the end. They are a great group of young ladies and I feel confident that the under classmen will continue to do well in the future.”
