BRIDGEVILLE — January 25, 2011 — The Fallsburg/Tri-Valley girls’ team earned a first place finish and the Monticello boys’ and girls’ teams both took second place in the slalom on Thursday afternoon in an Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association (OCIAA) Division I alpine ski meet at Holiday Mountain.
In the girls’ team standings, Fallsburg/T-V took first with a time of 2:47.73 and Monticello was a close second (2:49.59). Liberty and Sullivan West did not have enough skiers to qualify for the team standings.
In the boys’ team event, Monticello (2:40.69) finished second to Onteora (2:34.66). Liberty was fifth (2:57.24). and SW was sixth (3:17.45).
Fallsburg/T-V placed seventh as it did not have enough skiers for a team score.
