SULLIVAN COUNTY — January 5, 2010 — Inspired by the support of her family and her figure coach Lauren Epidy and her friends, Tracie Euker keeps achieving her goals in the sports of natural bodybuilding and fitness modeling.
Back on Nov. 14, Euker, a Middletown resident and art teacher at Liberty Elementary School, competed in the Ms. Fit category at the International Natural Body building & Fitness Federation (INBF) World Championships in New York City. She participated in the short class division of the Ms. Fit category, which featured a total of 11 ladies, and won second place.
Last June, Euker entered three categories in the INBF Hercules competition. She won first place overall in two of those categories – Masters and Open Figure – and placed third in the Ms. Fit division.
Those wins enabled Euker to earn her pro card. Currently, she is training for her first pro show, the 2010 World Natural Bodybuilding Federation (WNBF) Pro Natural American Men and Women Bodybuilding show which will be held in Marlborough, Mass. on Saturday, June 5. More than $6,000 in prize money will be awarded at the event.
Euker’s training now includes working out five days a week to add some more muscle to better prepare herself for competing against the other ladies in the pro division.
“The goal is always to win,” Euker said in a recent telephone interview. “But I also want to do more with fitness modeling.”
Euker noted that she recently added fitness modeling to her resumé. She is also pleased to appear in the Feb. 2010 issue of Natural Body Building and Fitness Magazine and the Winter edition of World Physique Magazine. Photos of Euker as a fitness model appear on pages 74-75 to accompany the article “Planning the Perfect Pre-Contest Diet” by Joe Klemczewski, Ph.D. in the Natural Body Building and Fitness Magazine. Photos of Euker and an article are included on pages 24-28 of the World Physique Magazine.
Euker is very pleased with all of the awards and accolades she has earned in bodybuilding competitions, especially since she is a lady in her 40s who works full-time and is a wife and mother.
Three of her biggest fans are her husband, Brad, and their two sons, Madden and Cameron.
“They are pretty confident I will do well in June,” Tracie Euker said of the upcoming WNBF Pro Natural American Men and Women Bodybuilding show.
