Memorial Service
Catherine M. Krum

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 24 Chestnut St., Liberty, NY for Catherine M. “Tassie” Krum of Jeffersonville who passed away February 8th in Orange City, Florida.
The service will be followed by a celebration of her life luncheon at the Lazy Pond Bed and Breakfast, 79 Old Loomis Rd., Liberty, NY.

Stephen Frederick Rich
1941 - 2013

Stephen was born in 1941 to Adelva and Francis Rich. He was educated in Boston, New York and London, and traveled the world many times. His passion for avant garde theater led him to work as a Stage and Production Manager from the '60s to the '90s, with The Living Theater and The Open Theater in New York among others; Lumiere & Son, The People Show and others in London; and later with the Lord Leebrick Theater in Eugene, OR. He also helped produce many educational exhibits, notably "The Salem Witch Museum" in Salem, MA and "The World of Shakespeare" in Stratford-Upon-Avon, UK.
Stephen lived in Cochecton Center from 1982 until 1994.
In Eugene, Oregon, Stephen met and married the love of his life, Lark Wadsworth, became papa to his fourth daughter, Olivia Leona Rich, and lived with them until his death on September 6, 2013 of lung cancer.
Stephen lived more fully than many people have the courage to do. His work and his life brought him a number of lifelong friendships that informed and enriched who he was, how he was. Raucous and funny, tender and curious, inventive and widely read, he was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
Stephen is survived by a sister; his first wife, Diane, their daughters Pamela, Deborah and grandchildren Diana and Joey; Gill, the mother of his daughter, Beatrice, and by Beatrice; Lark, his wife of 16 years, and their daughter, Olivia.
The family will hold a private memorial in October. Arrangements by Andreasons.
