Elsie Siska, a homemaker of Jeffersonville, NY, died Monday, September 16, 2013 at the Sullivan County Adult Care center in Liberty, NY. She was 94.
The daughter of Stephen and Margaret Katona, she was born January 26, 1919 in Hungary. She was the widow of John Siska who died October 8, 2008.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Liberty, and a former member of the Jeffersonville Lutheran Church.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, John S. and Arlene C. Siska of Liberty; a grandson, John T. Siska of Kingston, NY; a granddaughter, Kristina Siska of Astoria, Queens, NY; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Susan Eve Siska, as well as four brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services were held Thursday, September 19, 2013 at the Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, NY.
Burial was made in the Jeffersonville Lutheran Cemetery.
