John Malgioglio
Furniture Maker, 80

John Malgioglio of Swan Lake passed away at his home on Sunday, August 18, 2013. He was 80.
He was the son of the late Antonio and Josephine Litzio Malgioglio and was born on September 25, 1932 in Italy.
John was a furniture maker, specializing in hand carved furniture at the Victoria Gallery in New York City. He was an NRA Committeeman and a member of Sullivan County Friends of the NRA. He was an avid sportsman and hunter and he went on many safaris in Africa and other places around the world.
He is survived by his wife, Arlene, at home; son, Anthony Malgioglio at home; stepsons, Bradford Bidnick of San Jose, CA and Scott (DeeDee) Bidnick of Phoenix, AZ; brother, Joseph Malgioglio (Ninetta) of Bayside, NY; sister, Angie DeStephano of Ramacca, Italy; a step-grandson, David Bidnick; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visiting hours will be held today, Tuesday, August 20 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Ramsay’s Funeral Home, 3534 Rt 55, Kauneonga Lake, NY. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, August 21 at 11 AM at the funeral home. The Rev. David Coon will officiate.
Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Route 17B, Bethel, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made in John’s name to Hospice of Sullivan & Orange Counties, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
