Cora J. Milk of Roscoe, NY, a retired administrator for the Roscoe Manor Adult Home, Roscoe, NY, died Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center, Harris, NY. She was 78.
The daughter of the late Thomas and Matilda Frisbie Clark, she was born December 31, 1934 in Jessup, PA.
Survivors include her devoted husband, Gail I. Milk, at home; her loving children, Joseph Milk of Roscoe, NY, Lester Milk of Claryville, NY, Barbara Kennedy and her husband Steven of Sarasota, FL, and Denise Farragher and her husband Lou of Narrowsburg, NY; two sisters, Dorothy Quick of Roscoe, NY, and Shirley Tucker and her husband David of Roscoe, NY; two brothers, Joseph Clark of Newfoundland, PA, and James Clark and his wife Lucy of Jessup, PA; eight grandchildren, Shana, Jason, Ryan, Jared, Kristen, Mikaela, Kalyn, and Brandon; two great grandchildren, Logan and Landon; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by three brothers, Thomas Clark, William Clark, and Frederick Clark; and one sister, Anna Mae Jenkins.
Visitation will be Friday, August 16, 2013 from 4-7 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, Railroad Avenue, Roscoe, NY.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 9:30 AM in the Gate of Heaven Church, Highland Avenue, Roscoe, NY. Father Edward Bader will officiate.
Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery, Roscoe, NY.

Retired NY Telephone Repair Technician, 80
Leslie A. Parks of Youngsville, NY, a retired telephone repair and service technician for New York Telephone Company, died Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at his home. He was 80.
The son of Ora and Pearl Wilber Parks, he was born February 12, 1933 in White Sulphur Springs, NY. He was married to Elsie F. Wood Parks.
Les was a 58-year member and Past Assistant Chief of the Youngsville Fire Department, and a Past Commissioner of the Youngsville Fire District, the Ferguson Hollow Hunting Camp, the Telephone Pioneers of America, and a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Elsie F. Parks, at home; his children, Ronald Parks and his wife Cheryl of North Branch, NY; Donna Bright and her husband Gary of Youngsville, NY; John Parks and his wife Brenda of Shandelee, NY; his daughter-in-law, Nancy Parks of Briscoe, NY; grandchildren Kyle, Travis and Lesley Bright, Matthew, Brian and Kimberly Parks, and Cody and Lindsey Parks; two brothers, Robert Parks and his wife Marilyn of White Sulphur Springs, and Dale Parks and his wife Rose of Mexico, NY; and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Winifred Hessinger.
Friends and family may call on Friday, August 16, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home in Jeffersonville, NY.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Janet Fitzinger will officiate.
A Firematic service was held Thursday, August 15 at the funeral home.
Burial will be made in Greenhill Cemetery, Youngsville, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Youngsville Fire Department, Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, or to the charity of one’s choice.

Evelyn Danzer of Louisburg, North Carolina died Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at Franklin Regional Medical Center. She was 85.
A resident of Louisburg Manor, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Frederick Danzer, who had owned Danzer’s Garage in White Sulphur Springs.
Mrs. Danzer was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Services will be private.
She is survived by two sons, Richard Robert Danzer of Alstead, NH, and Gary Wayne Danzer of Louisburg, NC, four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
