Frank Robert “Bob” Hook
Formerly of Liberty, NY and Malone, NY
July 13, 1943 to July 20, 2013

The family of Frank Robert “Bob” Hook announces his passing into eternal life on July 20, 2013 at his home in Roanoke, West Virginia, after a short battle with cancer. He was born July 13, 1943 in Liberty, NY, to Frank Hook and Marie Knight Hook. He was 70 years young.
He is predeceased by his parents and an infant son, Robert Asa Hook.
He is survived by: his wife of 30 years, Cindy Hillriegel Hook of Roanoke, WV; a son, David Hook, and his fiancée Sandra Deckelman of Liberty, NY; a daughter, Pamela Hook Yoli and her husband Frank of Liberty, NY; a son, Jeremiah “Jeih” Hook and his wife Christy of Liberty, NY; a son, Chuck Porter and his fiancée Erin Roberts of Liberty, NY; grandchildren, Jessica Bagailuk, Chase, Cody and Carson Hook, Ryan Davis, Ariella, Miranda and Karisa Yoli, Kyle and Ryan Porter; mother-in-law, Shirley Bagailuk; sisters-in-law Kathy Capozzoli and husband Lou, Terri Pellam and husband Tim, Kristi Jouben and husband Mike, and Kimberly Mills; and several nieces and nephews.
A retired New York State Corrections Officer, he worked at Woodbourne Correctional Facility, Sullivan Correctional Facility and Bare Hill Correctional Facility.
He served as a reservist in the United States Army and was stationed at Fort Drum, NY.
In the early 1980s, Bob was a Scout Master for Boy Scout Troop #95, Liberty, NY.
Bob was an avid hunter and fisherman and a lifetime member of the North American Hunting Club. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and is remembered for teaching his grandchildren, nieces and nephews how to hunt, fish, ride ATVs and repair their cars.
Graveside Services were held on Friday, July 26, 2013.
