Memorial service for Ann Danuff

A memorial celebration of the life of Ann Danuff of Glen Spey, who passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013 in Valhalla, is planned for Sunday, July 28 at 2 p.m., at the Town of Lumberland Senior Center. Christopher B. McCarthy Jr.
Retired security guard, NYSE, 77

Christopher B. McCarthy Jr. of Long Eddy, New York, a retired security guard for the New York Stock Exchange, died Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Orange Regional Medical Center.
He was 77.
Son of the late Anna Treacy and Christopher B. McCarthy Sr. he was born in New York City on April 6, 1936. Chris was the husband of Mary (Bonnie) Walters McCarthy.
Chris was a United States Marine Corps veteran, a member of the Sullivan County Detachment of the Marine Corps League, a member of St. Patrick’s Church in Long Eddy, and a member of the Knights of Columbus Delaware Council #4478 in Callicoon.
Chris is survived by his wife Mary (Bonnie) McCarthy; three sons, John (Rebecca) McCarthy of St. Marys, Kansas; Vincent (Joanie) McCarthy of St. Marys, Kansas and Patrick McCarthy of Long Eddy, seven grandchildren: Johnny, Devon, Kathleen, Michael, Mary, George and Joseph, four greatgrandchildren: Audrey, Jack, Brendan and Liam; one sister Beatrice McIntyre of Missouri City, TX, and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a son, Christopher B. McCarthy III, and by his brother and sisters, John McCarthy, Mary Morton and Ann Nelson.
Friends may call on Monday, July 22, 2013 at Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home, 34 Upper Main Street, Callicoon from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 PM. The funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at St Patrick’s Church, Church Street, Long Eddy, New York at 11 a.m.
Burial with Military Honors will be at St Patrick’s Cemetery, Long Eddy, New York.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Upper Delaware Ambulance Corps, PO Box 238, Hankins, New York 12741.
Arrangements entrusted to Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home Inc., Callicoon, New York, 845-887-4900.
