Norvin “Buster” Fries
Retired Farmer, 91

Norvin “Buster” Fries, a longtime resident of Shandelee, passed away after a short illness on June 12, 2013, in the care of Hope Hospice in Cape Coral, Florida. He was 91.
Mr. Fries, a retired farmer, was born on April 8, 1922, to the late Fred and Wavie Edwards Fries.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, the former Gertrude Myers of Livingston Manor, whom he married on October 11, 1941. Also surviving are their children: Elizabeth Ann (Paul) Hubert of Youngsville, NY; Richard Lee (Helen Marie) Fries of New Milford, PA; Kay Wavie (Sid) Grossman of Fort Myers, FL; and Norvin F. (Kathy) Fries, Jr. of Livingston Manor, NY.
Arrangements were made under the direction of Hodges-Kiser Funeral Home of Fort Myers, FL. Memorial services will be scheduled by the family at a later time.

Hazel M. Hinaman
October 16, 1917 - June 30, 2013

Hazel M. Hinaman, 95, of Tyler Hill, Pa., died Sunday, June 30, 2013 in Bethany Village where she had recently resided.
Born on October 16, 1917 in Huguenot, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Addie Rauner Hinaman.
Hazel worked in the insurance industry; she lived in Jeffersonville and Ithaca, New York for many years.
She is survived by two sisters, Pearle Turner of Damascus, and Nora Shepstone of Bethany Village; numerous nieces and nephews by whom she was much beloved as “Aunt Hazel.”
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Frederic and Nelson; and two sisters, Ruth Swendsen and Laura Seipp.
Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are attended by the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home 1228 Main Street, Honesdale, PA 18431
