Fredericka Anne Schadt, 67
April 27, 1945 - April 19, 2013

Fredericka Anne Schadt of Jeffersonville, NY, died Friday, April 19, 2013 at Catskill Regional Medical Center in Callicoon, NY. She was 67.
The daughter of Otto and Frances Maio Petersen, she was born April 27, 1945. She was the widow of Frederick W.V. Schadt Jr. who died April 24, 1999.
She was a member of St. George’s Church in Jeffersonville.
She is survived by two daughters, Kelly Schadt Kelly and her husband, Mike, and Amy Hellerer and her husband, Aaron; three grandchildren: Samantha Lea Hellerer, Allie Mae Hellerer and Quinlan Frederick Kelly; two sisters, Frances Boyd and her husband, Raymond, and Louisa DiFabio and her husband, Michael; her mother-in-law, Adelaide Schadt, and several nieces, nephews and a cousin, Russell Widmark.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 22 at Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home in Jeffersonville, with Father Joseph Jeracek, OFM, officiating.
Burial was made in Calvary Cemetery, Youngsville, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sullivan County SPCA, 25 Rock Hill Dr., Rock Hill, NY 12775.

Louis H. Hemmer
October 13, 1932 - April 20, 2013

Louis H. Hemmer, age 80, of Liberty, NY, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2013 at home. Lou fought a long, valiant fight in which he never lost his sense of humor or drive for life.
Lou was a lifetime resident of Sullivan County, born in Jeffersonville, NY, son of the late Leo and Catherine (Griebel) Hemmer, a devoted husband, father, grandfather and uncle, as well as a member of St. Peter’s Church. He was loved by and respected by all who came in contact with him.
Lou was a 30-year employee of NYSEG as a Mechanic First Class. He was a member of NYSEG’s Liberty Quarter Century Club, a proud lifetime member of the NRA, an avid hunter, fisherman and a diehard Yankee’s fan.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 56 years, Charlene (McCorrison) Hemmer at home; a daughter, Maureen Miller; and four grandchildren, Sam, Keeley, Madison and Julia, all of Oceanside, CA; a sister, Marion Hamilton, of Port Jervis, NY; two sisters-in-law, Gloria Hemmer of Jeffersonville and Julia Hemmer of Liberty; in addition to many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by two brothers, John and Robert Hemmer; a brother-in-law, George W. Hamilton; and a nephew, George E. Hamilton.
He will be greatly missed by his loving family and many, many dear friends.
Friends may call on Tuesday, April 23 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home, Route 52, Jeffersonville, NY.
Funeral services will be held at 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24 at St. Peter’s Church, 264 North Main Street, Liberty, NY. Monsignor Edward Straub will officiate.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Youngsville, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Peter’s Church, 264 N. Main St., Liberty, NY 12754, Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550, or to a charity of one’s choice.
