James L. Dinnerstein
Retired manager Stevensville

James L. Dinnerstein of Liberty, NY, a retired manager for the Stevensville in Swan Lake, NY, and a longtime area resident, died Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at his home.
The son of the late Morris and Shirley E. Lipman Dinnerstein, he was born on December 25, 1950 in Hollywood, Fl.
For many years, James had been a partner in the Stevensville, which had been family-owned and operated for three generations. He later worked as a manager for Staples in Monticello, NY. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, woodworking and golfing with his children. He was a master at map reading and enjoyed many cross country trips with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Linda T. Watson, at home; two daughters, Stacy Abbott and her husband, Rob, and Megan Dinnerstein; two sons, Jessie Dinnerstein and his wife Joanne, and Sean Dinnerstein; seven grandchildren: Makenzie, Ty, Mariah, Melissa, Hunter, Angel and Jessie Jr.; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, and also by a beloved cousin, Joanna Gayle.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 24, 2012 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m., in the Harris Funeral Home West St. at Buckley, Liberty, N.Y.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. The Rev. Bridgette LeConey will officiate.
Memorial contributions in his name may be made to Orange Sullivan Hospice, 800 Stony Brook Ct., Newburgh, NY 12550.

Diane Gold
July 28, 1926 – February 22, 2012
South Fallsburg, NY

Diane Gold (nee Blitzer) formally of South Fallsburg NY passed away Wednesday February 22, 2012 at Sky View Health Center in Croton-on-Hudson NY.
Born in Brooklyn NY on July 28, 1926 she was the daughter of the late Morris & Jean Blitzer. Diane was a resident of South Fallsburg from 1948 until 2001 when she moved to Boca Raton, Florida.
Diane and the love of her life Victor were the owners of Mayfair Trading Corp. in South Fallsburg. She was also a member of the South Fallsburg Hebrew Association Sisterhood and Hadassah.
She is survived by sons: Hal and his wife Robin of Saratoga Springs, NY, and Morris and his wife Mary of Wyoming, Pa; and a daughter Susan Blumenfeld and her husband Robert of Chappaqua, NY. Diane is also survived by her beloved grandchildren: Danielle and her husband Sammy of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Noah and his wife Gena of Brooklyn, NY, Kate and her fiancé Adam of New York City, Vail of New York City, Ryan of Amherst MA, Harris of Oswego NY, and Austin and Victoria of Chappaqua NY. Also surviving is her brother Max & his wife Linda of Boca Raton FL. Diane was predeceased by her husband Victor, daughter Candy and sister Anna Mae Pares.
The funeral service will be held 11 am Friday February 24, 2012 at the Joseph N. Garlick Funeral home at 388 Broadway in Monticello NY. Internment will follow immediately after the service in the Workman’s Circle Cemetery, Marsh Road in Glen Wild NY.
Shiva will be observed at the home of Susan and Robert Blumenfeld.
