Wendy Lynn Chemerys
Home Depot Garden Center employee, 55

Wendy Lynn Chemerys of Beach Lake, Pa., formerly of Callicoon, NY, and a longtime area resident, died Tuesday, July 12, 2011 in Beach Lake, Pa. She was 55.
The daughter of the late Hans Sr. and Kathryn Weber Christiansen, she was born November 4, 1955 in Rahway, N.J. She was the widow of Robert Chemerys Sr.
Wendy worked in the Garden Center at the Home Depot in Honesdale, Pa.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Chemerys Jr. of Hortonville, and Christopher Chemerys of Alachua, Fla.; one daughter, Jessica Corbett of Weymouth, Mass.; three sisters, Karen Zimmerman of Holmes Beach Fla., Sandra Thomas of Bricktown, N.J., and Randi Kerr of Cape May, N.J.; her companion, Alfred “Moose” Griffin; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, and by a brother, Hans “Chip” Christiansen Jr.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2011 at the Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home, 34 Upper Main Street, Callicoon.
Services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
