Shirley M. Hendrickson of Cochecton, a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Sullivan County, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2011 at her home in Cochecton. She was 74.
The daughter of the late Louis and Edna Sullivan Dauch, she was born October 29, 1936 in Monticello.
She is survived by her husband, Cecil Hendrickson, at home; sons, Charles Hendrickson and his wife Denise of Cochecton and Daniel Hendrickson and his wife Caroline; a daughter, Cindy Babcock and her husband Randy of Fosterdale; a brother, Kenneth Dauch and his wife Pat of Old Town, Fla.; a sister, Elaine “Kookie” Bell of Mongaup Valley; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was predeceased by four brothers, Wendel, Charles “Toots,” Douglas and Vincent Dauch.
Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, January 12 at Ramsay’s Funeral Home, 3534 Route 55, Kauneonga Lake.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, January 13 at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Route 17B, Bethel.
