Lillian M. Emr
Homemaker, 92

Lillian M. Emr of Lakewood, NJ. passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2010 surrounded by the love of her family. She was 92.
Born in Port Jervis, Lillian met the love of her life, Milton, and together they had four wonderful children. They lived in Jeffersonville, NY, and Little Ferry, NJ, and after Milton’s passing, Lillian settled in Lakewood 30 years ago. Lillian was a proud member of The Ladies Aid Society in Jeffersonville, and a parishioner of Church of the Epiphany in Brick, NJ. However nothing brought her greater joy than being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her wonderful family. She will be dearly missed.
Lillian was predeceased by her parents, Stephen and Elizabeth Hoffman; and her beloved husband Milton in 1974.
She is survived by her daughter Joyce E. and husband Egon Rienits of Brick, NJ; daughter Nancy A. Carroll of Brick; son Stephen T. and wife Ellen of Mountain Lakes; son James W. and wife Marian of Rockville, Md.; her sister Doris and her husband William Lockwood of Little Egg Harbor; 11 grandchildren: Kenneth Rienits, Karen Reber, Kristina Clayton, Kevin Carroll, Craig Carroll, Christopher E. Emr, Carolyn Harris, Stephanie Emr, James Emr, Jacqueline Emr and Christopher P. Emr; and eight great-grandchildren: Kenneth, Karen, Kristina, Kevin, Craig, Christopher, Carolyn, Stephanie, James, Jacqueline and Christopher.
A funeral service was held Tuesday, August 31 at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road in Brick, NJ.
Committal was private at the request of the family.

Lois P. Ackerley
Housekeeper at Frost Valley, 75

Lois P. Ackerley of Claryville, a lifetime area resident and a housekeeper at Frost Valley YMCA, passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at her home with her family at her side. She was 75.
The daughter of the late John and Susan Morris Shultis, she was born Sept. 27, 1934 in Kingston.
She is survived by her sons, Archie Ackerley Jr. and his wife Mary of Claryville and Clinton Ackerley and his wife Karla of Browns Mills, NJ; daughters, Yvonne Coddington and husband Erik of Napanoch, and Robin Kaylor of Grahamsville; sisters, Joan VanWagner of Lake Katrine, and Arwilda Morris of Kingston; 11 grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Archie Ackerley Sr. in 2008.
Cremation and funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the Ackerley family.
Funeral arrangements are by Ramsay’s Funeral Homes Inc. in Liberty.
