Ann Krekun
Retired Hairdresser, 67

Ann Krekun of White Lake, a longtime area resident, passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris. She was 67.
The daughter of the late Juro and Teresa Alapic Milunic, she was born June 20, 1943 in Croatia. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Mongaup Valley and was a retired hairdresser at the Concord Hotel in Kiamesha Lake.
Ann is survived by her husband of 46 years, Krsto Krekun, at home; her daughters, Dr. Susan Krekun, MD, of Philadelphia, Pa. and Sonja Krekun of Millbrook, NY; her sister-in-law, Natale Milunic of Florida; a granddaughter, Julia Castalo; and a close family friend, Jennie Casagrande of Philadelphia. She was predeceased by her brother, Matthew Milunic.
Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. on Thursday, September 2 at Ramsay’s Funeral Home, 3534 State Route 55, Kauneonga Lake.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 3 at St. Joseph’s Church in Mongaup Valley, with the Rev. John Tran officiating.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Bethel.
