Doris Ann Jones, 70

Doris Ann Jones, 70, of Kansas City, Missouri died at home on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 of cancer. Doris was born on February 24, 1940 in Bethel, New York. Her parents were Edwin F. Gettel and Anna A. Pless Gettel. She had one brother, Edwin F. Gettel Jr. of Narrowsburg, New York. Doris is survived by three daughters, Sherry A. Jones-Ning of Kansas City North, Gwen M. Jones-Starkey of Polo, Missouri and Stacey M. Jones of Gladstone, Missouri; five grandchildren, April Graves of Nashville, Tennessee, Valerie Mills of Pleasant Valley, Missouri, Jonathon Stewart of San Diego, California, Timothy Ning of Kansas City North and Donnie Niehouse of Gladstone, Missouri; two great-grandchildren, Nicholas Mills and Donovan Mills.; two nephews, James Surrette of Kansas City, Missouri and Fred Surrette of Burlington, North Carolina.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to NorthCare Hospice, 2900 Clay Edwards Dr; North Kansas City, MO 64116.
A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home; 801 N.W. 108th St; Kansas City, MO (816) 734-5500. Condolences may  be left at mountmoriahterracepark.com.

Dale J. Grafman, 58

Dale Julie Grafman, 58, of Glendale, Arizona passed away at home surrounded by her loving family and friends on March 17, 2010. She was born in Middletown, New York and was the daughter of Jean Claire and former Chief of Police Carl Kaplan of South Fallsburg, New York. Dale graduated Fallsburg Central High School and Sullivan County Community College. She married Carl Grafman in 1972 became a homemaker and gave birth to their daughter, Kelly. They moved to Phoenix, Arizona and later Dale became an accomplished cosmetologist and business woman.
In addition to her daughter Kelly, Dale is survived by her sister Fran Saperstein and nephew Eric Saperstein of Venice, California; brother Norman Klein and wife Alice and their two children Lise Gottdenker and Matthew Klein of Miami, Florida, brother-in-law Michael Grafman and wife Suzy and ex-husband and dear friend Carl Grafman of Phoenix, Arizona.
Services were held Sunday, March 21 in Arizona.
