Eldred Golfer
Takes the Title

By Rob Potter
MONTICELLO — May 20, 2003 – Eldred senior Henry Bosch captured the OCIAA golf title Thursday at Kutsher’s Country Club in Monticello.
Bosch shot a 3-over par 74 to win the championship, the first for an Eldred golfer. Bosch shot a 38 on the first nine holes and 36 on the back nine.
“I didn’t three-putt all day,” said Bosch when asked about the key to victory. “I got off to a good start and kept it going from there.”
Following the event, Bosch dedicated the victory to his mother, Sandy, who was diagnosed with cancer last month.
“It’s for her,” Bosch said of the OCIAA title. “She’s been fighting [the cancer] and she’s doing better.”
Doug Novogrodsky of Fallsburg finished second with a total score of 76. He shot 38 on the front nine and 38 on the back nine.
