MEMBERS OF SULLIVAN Peace & Justice have been holding periodic peace vigils in Liberty since the winds of war started swirling in October of 2002. A couple of days before Christmas 2003, Padma Dyvine (above) and a few stalwarts of the local peace movement like Heidi Schneider of Narrowsburg turned out on a chilly Monday night to hold a candlelight vigil for peace at the intersection of Chestnut Street and Main.
