March 26, 2002:

Overall record: 9-11
League record: 4-8 OCIAA Division III
Team Leaders: Deirdre Smith dominated the scoreboard for the Lady Panthers with 338 points this season. Smith averaged 16.9 points, 9.6 rebounds, 3.5 steals and 2 assists per game. Brady Dollard contributed 136 points this season, averaging 6.8 per game and grabbing an average of 10.5 rebounds. Nakita White had 128 points by the end of the season followed by Christa Billias with 87. Bagina McCline had 96 points this season and averaged nine rebounds a game.
Season highlight: In the second half of the season, the Lady Panthers came back to beat Goshen, Ellenville and James I. O’Neill, said Coach Karen Atack.
Other comments: According to Atack, the team was extremely young. Dollard, a junior, was the only upper classman.
“We will continue to work on the fundamentals of the game and strive to build a strong team,” Atack noted.
