Talented Youth

LOCH SHELDRAKE — July 17, 2001 – The Jinimac Junior Tournament was held last Wenesday at Lochmor Golf Course in Loch Sheldrake.
The tourney is annually sponsored by Nancy McCarthy and her family of Brooklyn park, Minnesoata. nancy is the sister of CJT Vice President Judie DuPlessis. The tournament name is made up from the first names of the McCarthy family — Jim, Nancy, Megan, And Caitlan
Kristen Stoddard of Liberty won the girls 15-17 division in her first event of the season.
Stoddard will be a favorite this weekend when she teams with Cynthia Johnston to play in the Sullivan County Democrat’s “Lady Democrat” Tournament at the Villa Roma.
Sammy Lane of Cuddebackville won his second consecutive tournament in the boys 15-17 group, and Gregory Swarthout of Grahamsville took his second victory of the season by seven strokes in the boys 7-8 division. Results:
