“DOROTHY,” AKA KELLI Lovdahl of Monroe, mimics the face of a nearby snow sculpture named, simply enough, “Alien.” Lovdahl, a first-place Livingston Manor Ice Carnival skater, dressed up like the main character from “The Wizard of Oz,” while Alien was a creation of the local school’s Class of 2001.

Ice Carnival Delights
Yet Again

LIVINGSTON MANOR — The nasty weather held off long enough for the annual Livingston Manor Ice Carnival to take place once again at Rotary Park this past weekend.
Saturday’s festivities, which included crowning the Ice King and Ice Queen, were followed by races and ice skating performances on Sunday, to the delight of hundreds who braved the cold temperatures in Livingston Manor.
Coordinated every year by Manor Rotarians, the event was deemed a success once again.
Following are the official race and sponsor lists.
