Constance R. Faber
Homemaker

Constance Ruth Tannenbaum Faber of Kiamesha Lake, a homemaker and former resident of Malverne, died Wednesday, December 20, 2000. She was the widow of Sidney Faber.
In a family statement, it was said, "We will miss you, Mom, and you will remain in our hearts always. We love you."
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Allen Werwa; a son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Wayne and Betty Faber; and four grandchildren, Todd and Craig Werwa and Lindsay and Seth Faber.
Graveside services and burial were held Friday at the Wellwood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart and Lung Association.

Dorothy Hafner
Teacher, 67
Wilmont Hafner
IBM Employee, 67

Dorothy Seifert Hafner and her husband, Wilmont Hafner, both 35-year residents of Ringwood, N.J., and formerly of Dumont, N.J., both died Tuesday, December 19, 2000. They both were 67 years of age.
Born in Teaneck, N.J., Mrs. Hafner was a teacher for the Lakeland Regional High School in Wanaque, N.J
Mr. Hafner was born in Jersey City and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Claryville Fire Department. Both Mr. and Mrs. Hafner attended St. Catherine's R.C. Church in Ringwood, N.J.
They are survived by two sons, Michael and Steven Hafner, both of Ringwood, N.J.; four daughters, Diane Holmes of Georgia, Alyssa Seclen of Hewitt, N.J., Judith Hafner of Washington, D.C. and Melissa Hafner of North Carolina; and three grandchildren. Mrs. Hafner is also survived by two sisters, Rosemary Clair of Suffern, N.J., and Margaret Schiffer of Claryville. Mr. Hafner is also survived by a brother, Kenneth Hafner of Ohio.
Following services at the D'Agostino Funeral Home in Haskell, N.J., on Saturday, a Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Catherine's R.C. Church.
Burial was made in the Claryville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in the name of Mr. and Mrs. Hafner may be made to the Claryville Fire Department, Claryville, N.Y. 12725 or to the Lakeland Regional High School National Honor Society Scholarship Fund, Wanaque, N.J. 07465.

Doris J. Messina
Homemaker, 67

Doris J. Messina of Narrowsburg, a homemaker and a lifelong area resident, died Wednesday, December 20, 2000, at her home. She was 67 years of age.
The daughter of the late Curtis and Anna Steffens Davis, she was born August 4, 1933, in Milanville, Pa. She was the widow of Frank Messina who died in 1993.
She is survived by a son, and daughter-in-law, Michael and Monique Messina of Narrowsburg; two sisters, Rose Sheppard of Lake Huntington and Shirley Utegg and her husband, Harold of Narrowsburg; a brother, Elwin "Bucky" Davis and his wife, Claudia of Milanville, Pa. and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, Harry Davis, and two sisters, Marie Reeves and Marjorie Davis.
Cremation was made at the Twin Tiers Crematory in Endicott.
Graveside services and burial of the cremains will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 30, in Glen Cove Cemetery in Narrowsburg with the Rev. Phyllis Haynes officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, N.Y. 12550 or to the Lake Huntington-Cochecton Fire Department, Lake Huntington, N.Y. 12752.
Funeral arrangements were made by the Rasmussen Sons Funeral Home in Narrowsburg.
