Denise L. Reiber, 25

Denise L. Reiber of Monticello died on Tuesday, August 15, 2000, at the Seelig Division of Community General Hospital. She was 25 years of age.
The daughter of Michael and Donna Lima Paolano, she was born February 11, 1975, in East Meadow.
She is survived by her parents of Monticello; her matrnal grandmother, Angie Lima of Syracuse; her paternal grandmother, Ann Paolano of West Palm Beach, Fla.; a son, Neco Reiber, at home; a brother, Anthony Paolano of San Francisco, Calif.; a sister, Michelle Settimo and her husband, Thomas, of Kearnersville, N.C.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may call at the Ramsay's Funeral Home, 66 St. John St., Monticello, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Services will be held at the funeral home at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Cremation will be made at the Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope.

Gregory M. Mallen
Roofer, 53

Gregory M. Mallen, a self-employed roofer and a 20-year area resident, died Sunday, August 13, 2000, at his home. He was 53 years of age.
The son of Melville Mallen and the late Catherine Murphy Mallen, he was born November 10, 1946, in New York City.
Mr. Mallen was a member of St. Peter's R.C. Church in Monticello.
He is survived by his father of Long Island; his wife, Janyce DiCanio Mallen, at home; two sons, Edward Mallen of Lynbrook and Kevin Mallen, at home; two daughters, Kimbalee Tagliamonta of Monticello and Kristina Mallen, at home; two sisters, Gail Flores of Ronkonkoma and Cathy Licek of Tampa, Fla.; and two grandchildren, Alexandra Tagliamonta and Edward Mallen. He was predeceased by two sisters, Joan Johnson and Eleanor Brooks.
A Mass of Christian Burial was offered Thursday at St. Peter's Church in Monticello with the Rev. Robert Ginel officiating.
Burial was made in Evergreen Cemetery in Bethel.
Funeral arrangements were made by the Ramsay's Funeral Home in Kauneonga Lake.

Elizabeth "Lil" Kelly
Ret. Secretary, 95

Elizabeth "Lil" A. Kelly of Callicoon, a retired secretary for Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. in Manhattan and a 45-year area resident, died Tuesday, August 15, 2000, at the Ellen Memorial Health Care Center in Honesdale, Pa. She was 95 years of age.
The daughter of the late William and Barbara Hoerter, she was born November 20, 1904, in New York City. She was the widow of Harry T. Kelly.
Mrs. Kelly was a member of Holy Cross Church in Callicoon and the Rosary Society of the Church.
She is survived by friends and neighbors.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Cross Church in Callicoon.
Burial will be made in Holy Cross Cemetery in Callicoon.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Delaware Community Center, Box 354, Callicoon, or Holy Cross Church, Route 97, both at Callicoon, N.Y. 12723.

Richard C. O'Dell
Ret. from Bluestone Co, 79

Richard C. O'Dell of East Branch, a retired employee of Johnston and Rhodes Bluestone Co. in East Branch and a lifelong area resident, died Monday, August 14, 2000, at the Binghamton General Hospital. He was 79 years of age.
The son of the late Preston A. and Wilhelmina McAdams O'Dell, he was born May 1, 1921, in Peakville.
Mr. O'Dell was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Carol O'Dell of Roscoe; a dear friend, Dora Phillips of Readburn; a grandson, Clifford O'Dell of Roscoe; two brothers, Kingsley O'Dell of Downsville and Fred O'Dell of Walton; a sister, Tressa McGraw of Port Jervis; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were private.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Roscoe Hose Co. #1, Union Street, Roscoe, N.Y. 12776.
Funeral arrangements were made by the Harris Funeral Home in Roscoe.
